The ASPIRE Path in Molecular Medicine

My research focuses on understanding how genetic liability to neuropsychiatric disorders can affect health outcomes by leveraging a variety of resources from BioVU, including electronic medical records, routinely drawn clinical laboratory measurements, and genetic information. I hope to understand how genetic risk for neuropsychiatric disorders relate to comorbid phenotypes, potentially uncover putative biomarkers, and to explore how genetic variation can affect medication efficacy.
