Leah Mann

Graduate Student, Neuroscience

I am a Ph.D. student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program at the Vanderbilt Brain Institute. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in cognitive neuroscience at Brown University. After my first year of graduate school, I joined the Claassen Lab under the direction of Dr. Daniel Claassen. I look forward to using neuroimaging techniques to research cognitive changes that arise with neurodegenerative diseases and their medications. Currently, I am assessing the development of impulsive and compulsive behaviors in Parkinson’s disease and how dopamine receptor availability relates to response inhibition in patients with and without these non-motor symptoms.
