“The ASPIRE program definitely had one of the biggest impacts on my training, as it prepared me for a number of aspects of science that lie outside the lab (e.g. management and marketing) and gave me a great idea of what jobs are out there. I also had a great experience doing outreach to local schools and mentoring high school students, undergraduates, and grad students in the lab!”
