Arc Institute has launched open calls for Core Investigators and Science Fellows to join Arc in 2024.
Arc’s Core Investigators are independent group leaders based at our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA, who may also hold a faculty appointment at one of our university partners. Science Fellows are exceptional early-career scientists who have transitioned to a principal investigator position directly after their doctoral training. All Core Investigators and Science Fellows receive unrestricted, flexible funding to support their labs and pursue their most important ideas.

Coordinated Search with Stanford Department of Pathology: hiring a Core Investigator with a focus in Immunology or Neurobiology who will also hold a tenure-line faculty appointment (open rank) in the Department of Pathology
Coordinated Search with Stanford Department of Genetics: hiring a Core Investigator with a focus in Immunology or Neurobiology who will also hold a tenure-line faculty appointment (open rank) in the Department of Genetics
Partner University Search: seeking a current faculty member (open rank) at UC Berkeley, UCSF, or Stanford with a focus in Neurobiology, Immunology, or Computational Science to join Arc as a Core Investigator
Science Fellow Search: hiring 1-2 exceptional early career scientists who have completed their PhD between 2021 and 2024 to join Arc as Science Fellows and jumpstart their career as an independent group leader; desired focus areas include Neurobiology, Immunology, Computational Science, Human Genetics, Chemical Biology, and Technology Development
