Dr. Matt Miller is originally from Ft. Worth, Tx and went to undergraduate at Abilene Christian University in west Texas where he met and married his wife Kathryn.  He then attended Texas A&M College of Medicine before moving to Nashville couples matching with Kathryn, She in pediatrics and he in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  After completing his residency in 2006 and pediatric chief residency in 2007, he joined the faculty practicing primary care at Vanderbilt.    In addition to college mentor he is also the Co-Director of the Primary care clerkship. Matt enjoys education in many facets but especially clinical teaching of students and resident 'in the moment' while in clinic or on the wards. He is married to Kathryn Miller M.D. who has done both a research tract career as well as now practicing in private practice Allergy and Immunology.  

They have four children Ben, Madelyn, Korynne, and Nathan and three dogs who keep them busy in their active lives.   Matt enjoys exercise, playing any ball sport, Texas A&M football, coaching 4 year old soccer, church activities and time with his family.
