Extracurricular Interest: Traveling, snowboarding, running, soccer, volunteering for type 1 diabetes organizations, and playing outside!
Other info: I grew up in Boulder, Colorado and have found myself living in many other locations including Florida, California, Australia, England, Japan, New Zealand, Montana, and now Nashville! I took one year off before medical school to live with friends and compete in snowboard cross races in the mountains of Whitefish, Montana. I also took the time to travel around Europe with my twin sister, Sydney, who is also in med school at Vandy. I played soccer in college and enjoy staying active while in med school, especially when I get to compete in College Cup with my fellow Gabbe classmates! Extracurricular Interests: I like playing soccer and ultimate frisbee and spending time with my wife and daughter.
Other info: The whole time I have been at medical school, I have felt inadequate and really stressed about knowing the material well enough and having the right balance in my life between school and family. If anyone has any questions or issues with either of these two things, I would love to discuss them. It's not something you ever completely figure out, but I have learned a few things and gotten some tips from people with more experience than me, and would be happy to pass those along.

Other info: I grew up in St. Louis, MO. After graduating from Duke, I spent a year in Denver, CO working as a client advocate for mobile nursing clinics serving the low-income elderly through a Catholic volunteer program.
