Carmen Wolfe, MD

Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine


Dr. Carmen Wolfe is originally from Brandon, Mississippi. She received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt with a double major in Biological Sciences and East Asian Studies. After graduating, Carmen moved to Beijing to study traditional Chinese medicine before eventually returning to Vanderbilt for medical school as a Canby Robinson scholar. She completed her residency training at the UCLA/Olive View Emergency Medicine training program in Los Angeles where she served as a chief resident. Now, back at Vanderbilt once again, Carmen serves as an assistant program director for the department of emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, trail running, and spending time with her family.
