Jennifer Green, MD

Medicine Pediatrics


Dr. Green is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics as well as the Associate Director of the Med-Peds Residency Program. She attended medical school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill before coming to Vanderbilt for her Med-Peds residency. She served as the chief resident of ambulatory medicine at Vanderbilt. She also completed a fellowship with the Quality Scholars Fellowship Program at the Nashville, VA Medical Center. Dr. Green joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2010.  Her academic interests include medical education at all levels, chronic disease management and improving the quality of patient care. Currently, she spends time doing both clinical care and is actively involved in medical student and resident education. She is married to George Green and loves being Mom to Zoe and Gardiner.
