John Seibert, MD

Dr. John W. Seibert is a graduate of Peabody College at Vanderbilt University with a dual degree in history and secondary education. He then received a Master’s of Arts in Technical Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dr. Seibert graduated from medical school with honors in research from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and continued there for residency in the Department of Otolaryngology. Upon completion of his medical training, Dr. Seibert accepted a faculty position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Washington University at Saint Louis. He and his family returned to Franklin, TN in 2007. After joining Vanderbilt, Dr. Seibert became Director of Education, assisting in coordinating the educational programs for the Otolaryngology residents. This teaching role has continued in both the undergraduate and graduate level. His clinical and surgical practice is based in Williamson County. Professional Interests: General Adult and Pediatric Otolaryngology; scholarship in medical education, technology in teaching (audience response systems, interactive lecture format).
