SOP for Course Evaluations

Overview

Pursuant to the Doctor of Medicine Program Evaluation Policy students are required to complete the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine-developed course evaluation surveys that they receive from the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education Evaluation and Assessment Team.

Purpose

To describe the expectations for completion of course evaluation surveys.

Standard Operating Procedures

1. Students must complete the course evaluation surveys by the assigned deadline.
2. If a student does not complete the course evaluation survey by the deadline, the student will receive a flag in VSTAR Portfolio in the domain of Systems-Based Practice.
   1. Repeated flags in the domain of Systems-Based Practice will impact progress and promotion.
