Dual Degree Requirements

Steps for approval process:
  1. Students first meet with the Associate Dean for Medical Student Affairs (ADMSA) to discuss the second degree.
  2. Students complete and submit the Alternative Pathway Request form to Enrollment Services and the ADMSA.
  3. Students complete the three-year blank schedule planner and submit it with the Alternative Pathway Request form.
    1. Immersion Phase, Research, FHD and LC (electronically) sign off on the proposed schedule.
    2. Approval notification to the student, ADMSA and Enrollment Services will come from immersion.phase@vanderbilt.edu.
  4. The ADMSA formally approves the alternative pathway/dual degree after student schedule approval is received.
