Arthur Anderson Jr., M.D., ‘50, HS ‘52, FE ‘55, died July 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Arthur, Charlotte, Michael and James.

Samuel Boellner, M.D., HS ‘63, died Sept. 5, 2015. He was 80. Dr. Boellner is survived by his wife, Marilyn; stepchildren, Karen and Eric; and seven step-grandchildren.

Marion Carnes, M.D., HS ‘58, died June 2, 2015. He was 94. Dr. Carnes was predeceased by his wife, Miriam, and is survived by their children, John, Russell, Daniel and Geoffrey; and many grandchildren.

Evonne Charboneau, M.D., ‘07, MSCI ‘09, FE ‘10, FAC ‘10, died Aug. 4, 2015. She was 64. Dr. Charboneau is survived by her mother, Delores; siblings, nieces and nephews.

Jerrie Cherry, M.D., FAC ‘72, died in June 2015. He is survived by his wife, Ann; children, John and Henry; and two stepchildren, Ann and Stuart.

Mike Currie, M.D., HS ‘85, FE ‘87, died May 12, 2015. He was 61. Dr. Currie is survived by his wife, Vicki; children, John, George, Joseph, Jonelle, Marie, and Maey-Emlyn; and two grandchildren.

Joe Gillespie, M.D., ‘61, died May 30, 2015. He is survived by his children, Joe and Jane, and eight grandchildren.

Ronald Goldman, M.D., FAC ‘74, died Aug. 18, 2015. He was 81. Dr. Goldman is survived by his wife, Frada Mae; children, Laurie, Jan and Karen; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

John Goodgame Sr., M.D., ‘45, BA ‘43, HS ‘46, ‘52, died May 22, 2015. He was 94. Dr. Goodgame was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie, and is survived by his children, J. Thomas, Richard, Lynda, Brenda and Brooks; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

J. Gordon Gregory, M.D., FE ‘80, died Sept. 7, 2015. He was 79. Dr. Gregory is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Carol, Betty Jo and Sandra; stepchildren, Edker and Jackie; and 13 grandchildren.

Glenn Hendrickson, M.D., ‘40, died April 20, 2015. He was 100 years old.

Cathy Csaky Hirt, Ph.D., ‘95, BA ‘76, and Darrell Hirt, M.D., FE ‘88, died in a taxi accident while traveling in Hungary on Oct. 2, 2015. They are survived by their children, Karl, Alex and Tina.

Jerome Hutchens, M.D., HS ‘72, died May 31, 2015. He was 85. He is survived by his children, Richard, Jim, Craig, Jay, Linda, Babette and Marla; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

John Isom, M.D., ‘54, BA ‘50, HS ‘55, ‘59, FE ‘60 died Oct. 10, 2015. He was 90. Dr. Isom is survived by his daughters, Sandra, Karen and Diane; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

John Jobe, M.D., HS ‘96, died Aug. 23, 2015. He was 51. Dr. Jobe is survived by his father, Edgar; and siblings, Charles, Eddie and Kristy.

Jeremy Kaye, M.D., FAC, professor emeritus of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, died July 4, 2015. He was 75. In 2000 Dr. Kaye became vice chair of the department and served in this role until becoming interim chair in 2006. In 2007 he was named the Carol D. and Henry P. Pendergrass Professor and chair of the department, a position he held until 2012 when he stepped down. Dr. Kaye is survived by his wife, Bernadette; and children, Patrick, Michael, Kathleen and their families.

R. Taylor King, M.D., ‘48, BA ‘45, HS ‘53, died May 11, 2015. He was 89. Dr. King is survived by his wife, Earline; son, Andrew; and two granddaughters.

Ralph Lampert, M.D., BA ‘61, HS ‘70, died March 28, 2015. He was 76. Dr. Lampert is survived by his wife, Priscilla; children, Rebecca and Deborah; and five grandchildren.

Charles Logan, M.D., ‘60, died June 23, 2015. He was 80. Dr. Logan is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Charles, Christopher and Karen; three grandchildren; and his brother, Bubba.

John Marchand Jr., M.D., ‘54, died Oct. 5, 2015. He was 86. Dr. Marchand is survived by his wife, Agnes; children, Linda, Diane, Vickie and John; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Raymond Martin, M.D., ‘45, HS ‘52, died Sept. 19, 2015. He was 94. Dr. Martin is survived by his wife, Margery; children, Betsy and Raymond; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ellen McCormick, M.D., HS ‘81, died May 21, 2015. She was 64. Dr. McCormick is survived by her siblings, Annie, Michael, Pat, Katie and Molly, and her nieces and nephews.

Charles McCullough Jr., M.D., ‘61, HS ‘62, died May 27, 2015. He was 80. Dr. McCullough is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Leslie; and two grandchildren.

L. Kristen McNutt, Ph.D., ‘70, died June 30, 2015. She was 73. Dr. McNutt is survived by her husband, David; brother, James; and eight nieces and nephews.

Michael Milam, M.D., BS ‘96, HS ‘05, died June 3, 2015. He was 41. Dr. Milam is survived by his wife, Ashley; and children, Jack and Ben.

Pedro Perales, M.D., HS ‘70, died July 24, 2015. He was 79. Dr. Perales is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Susan, Johnny, and Waldemar; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Alan Robison, Ph.D., FAC ‘72, died May 25, 2015. He was 80. Dr. Robison is survived by his former wife, Jill; his son, James; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Ronald Schwartz, M.D., HS ‘79, died July 19, 2015. He was 65. Dr. Schwartz is survived by his father, Monroe, and his sister, Arlene.

George Scott, M.D., ‘52, died Aug. 9, 2015. He was 87. Dr. Scott is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Robert, David and Jane; and nine grandchildren.

Robert Stonerock, Jr., M.D. ‘73, died Oct. 10, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Marty, and daughter Chelsea.

George Summer, M.D., HS ‘52, died July 8, 2015. He was 92. Dr. Summer is survived by his wife, Betsy; children, Carol and David; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Noel Tulipan, M.D., HS ‘86, FAC, renowned neurosurgeon and trailblazer in fetal surgery repair for spina bifida, died Nov. 2, 2015, after a long illness. He was 64. Dr. Tulipan, professor of Neurological Surgery, emeritus, and former chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery, led a distinguished career spanning three decades at Vanderbilt, where he laid the pioneering groundwork for treatment and care of babies born with open, neural tube defects and performed the first in utero repair of spina bifida in 1997, which led to a seven-year, landmark Management of Myelomeningocele Study (MOMS). Dr. Tulipan is survived by his wife, Donna Hummell, M.D., professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Vanderbilt; daughter, Rachel; and son, Hunter.

John Vogel, M.D., HS ‘60, died June 1, 2015. He was 72. Dr. Vogel is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children, Kristen, Nancy and Carrie; and five grandchildren.

Paul Ward, M.D., FAC ‘68, died April 9, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and two children.

John “Steve” Waters, M.D., HS ‘76, died May 14, 2015. He was 67. Dr. Waters is survived by his wife, Shelley; children, Kelly, Art, Stephanie and Brandy; and two grandchildren.
