Lawrence Abrahams, M.D., ‘61, died March 3, 2015. He was 80. Dr. Abrahams is survived by his wife, Hanna; siblings, nieces and nephews.
Joseph Allen Jr., M.D., HS ‘56, died Sept. 16, 2016. He was 91. Dr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye, and is survived by children, Joe and Kirby; and five grandchildren.
Robert Bomar, M.D., ‘60, HS ‘66, FAC ‘87, died May 25, 2016. He was 85.
Ben Branscomb, M.D., HS ‘53, died July 4, 2016. He was 92. Dr. Branscomb was predeceased by his wife, Jane, and is survived by children Louisa, Melinda, Betsy and Jane; and five grandchildren.
Arthur Brooks, M.D., ‘52, HS ‘61, FAC ‘84, died July 28, 2016. He was 91. Dr. Brooks was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and is survived by children Judy, Amy and Scott; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Walter Cain, M.D., HS ‘58, BA ‘50, died Sept. 2, 2016. He was 88. Dr. Cain is survived by his children Andrew and Margaret; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronald Cinocca, M.D., ‘75, died July 13, 2016. He was 66. Dr. Cinocca is survived by his children Thomas and Nathan; and two grandchildren.
John Clariday, M.D., ‘51, BA ‘47, died Oct. 7, 2016. He was 91 years old. Dr. Clariday was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie, and is survived by children John, Mary, Greg and Kevin; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Gerald Eggers, M.D., HS ‘80, FE ‘81, died July 19, 2016. He was 64. Dr. Eggers is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children Jimmy, Daniel, Audrey, Thomas and Peter; and six grandchildren.
Ken Gray, M.D., HS ‘71, died Aug. 9, 2016. He was 77. Dr. Gray is survived by his wife, Lynn; children Elizabeth, Amy and Peter; and five grandchildren.
Neil E. Green, M.D., professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation, Emeritus, and former director and chief of the Division of Pediatric
Orthopaedics at Vanderbilt, died July 9, 2016. He was 75. Dr. Green’s career at Vanderbilt spanned 38 years. He is survived by his wife, Lesley, and children, Bruce and Lisa, and their spouses; and four grandchildren.
Robert Hale Jr., M.D., ‘63, HS ‘65, BA ‘58, died Oct. 28, 2016. He was 79. Dr. Hale is survived by his wife, Shirley; seven children and 19 grandchildren.
Lloyd Hefner, M.D., ‘49, HS ‘51, BA ‘46, died Aug. 16, 2016. He was 92. Dr. Hefner is survived by his children Lee, Patricia, Susan and Laurie; and one grandchild.
John Heumann, M.D., HS ‘66, died Oct. 21, 2016. He was 79. Dr. Heumann is survived by his wife, Mary; children Gayle, John and Greg; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

George Hubbard Jr., M.D., ‘68, BA ‘64, died Oct. 13, 2016. He was 74. Dr. Hubbard is survived by his wife, Judy; children Baker, Brooks and Jeff; and six grandchildren.
