Paul Bennett Jr., MD, FE’88, FAC’00, died May 14, 2018. He was 64. Dr. Bennett is survived by his sons Patrick and Christopher and two grandchildren.
George Booze, MD, HS’73, FE’75, died Sept. 1, 2018. He was 78. Dr. Booze is survived by his wife, Judith, and children Michael and Leanna; and one grandchild.
Henry Cecil, MD’50, died Dec. 7, 2018. He was 97. Dr. Cecil is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children Rebecca, Anne and David; stepdaughters Jennifer and Elizabeth; two grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Bruce Decker, MD’73, died spring of 2018. He was 71. Dr. Decker is predeceased by his parents Beulah and Laurence and is survived by his longtime friend, Anne Fishbein.
Franklin (Frank) Dill, MD, HS’67, died Aug. 18, 2018. He was 84. Dr. Dill is survived by his children Andrew, Thomas and Eleanor; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Paul Diamond, MD’58, died Dec. 4, 2018. Dr. Diamond was preceded in death by his son, Seth, and is survived by his wife, Lenore; children Joanna, Elizabeth and Constance; and four grandchildren.
Thomas Duncan, MD, HS’64, FAC’84, BA’55, died July 19, 2018. He was 84. Dr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Judith; sons Jeffrey, Darrell and Kevin; and six grandchildren.
Ensor (Buz) Dunsford Jr., MD’48, died July 19, 2018. He was 95. Dr. Dunsford is survived by his wife, Margaret; children Ann, John and Margaret; and two grandchildren.
Roy Elam III, MD, emeritus associate professor of Internal Medicine and founding medical director for the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at VUMC, died Aug. 20, 2018. He was 71. Dr. Elam was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and is survived by his wife, Kaye; sons Roy and Clark; and six grandchildren.
John Fields, MD’57, FAC’00, BA’54, died July 22, 2018. He was 85. Dr. Fields is survived by his sons Matthew and Robert; granddaughter, Bailey; and stepchildren Melinda, John and Will.
