Slovis lauded by academic emergency medicine peers
Corey Slovis, MD, recently received the Lifetime Service Award from the Association of Academic Chairs of Emergency Medicine (AACEM). The award, created in 2016, is given to an AACEM member who has contributed to the advancement of academic chairs and made outstanding, nationally recognized contributions to the AACEM over the course of his or her career. Nominated by his peers and selected by the executive committee of the AACEM, Slovis received the honor on March 22 during the organization’s annual retreat in Puerto Rico.
