“My classmates and I are embarking on the greatest challenge of our lives. Our deans and professors have been telling us we are no longer learning for a grade or even for ourselves; we are now learning for our patients and for their lives. The pressure is certainly on, but I know I can rely on my extraordinary classmates and the nurturing environment of Vanderbilt. I can already feel the affection and power of this community pushing me to reach my best self, and I know it’s going to be an incredible year.”
