All VSSA participants will have the opportunity to present their summer work in the last week of the program. Individual programs will decide what format their students will use to present their work.
The VSSA Research Symposium will be a poster session, held at a time and place to be determined. If your program is participating in this Symposium, be sure to submit your abstract by Monday July 20. Be sure that your title, abstract, and poster are approved by your PI before you submit it, so you may want to send it to them a week before the deadline.
In preparation for this event:
- XXX @ 12N in LH 214 there will be a talk on Making Effective Poster Presentations by Dr. Kari Tallman.
- XXX @ 12N there will be a workshop on Writing a Scientific Abstract with Steph
We will be publishing a book of the abstracts for the participants.
If you have any questions about abstracts, the Symposium, or the registration process, please contact Stephanie Richards or Davie Morales-Miranda.
