Biography
I received my undergraduate and master: Medical Doctor degrees at Kobe University School of Medicine in Japan. My Master of Public Health is from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health

Prior to coming to Vanderbilt I was a respiratory physician and my research field was clinical epidemiology. I have conducted several multicenter retrospective cohort studies and database research on respiratory infectious diseases.

Why Vanderbilt?
I was attracted by the interdisciplinary environment where epidemiologists, clinicians, and biostatisticians work together. Besides, one-to-one mentorship from the beginning and involvement in the project is outstanding.
