Biography
I graduated from China Agricultural University with a doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine and proceeded to Boston University for training in Master of Public Health. After graduation, I worked as a Biostatistician in the Orthopaedic and Arthritis Center for Outcomes Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before joining Vanderbilt for its Ph.D. in Epidemiology program. My research interest is in epidemiological methodology with application to cancer research.
Why Vanderbilt?
I choose Vanderbilt because its program is designed to cultivate independent researchers. I believe the strong mentorship and supportive environment here will enable me to take more responsibility and leadership roles in my future research.
