Professional Development Learning Opportunities
Non-degree-seeking enrollees, known as ‘Special Students,’ have the unique opportunity to explore the Vanderbilt MSCI program for professional development. This flexible enrollment option allows individuals to take select courses for professional development or determine if the program aligns with their academic needs and career trajectory. Special Students who later decide to pursue the MSCI degree must refer to Apply>Application for admissions guidance. The cost of tuition for a non-degree-seeking student is the per credit hour for the academic year. Purchasing textbooks, software, and other research supplies is the responsibility of the enrolled learner.
Auditing MSCI courses is not allowed. This ensures that each learner fully engages with the course material and benefits from the comprehensive learning experience.
