This April, several Vanderbilt MSTP students attended the 2025 AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting at the Swissôtel Chicago, joining physician-scientists from across the country for a weekend of cutting-edge science and career development. The conference opened with a compelling conversation featuring Dr. Peggy Hamburg, former FDA Commissioner, followed by a keynote from Dr. Vivian Lee on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in biomedicine. Beyond the lectures, our students presented posters and engaged in mentorship lunches as well as networking events, fostering connections that will support their future careers in translational science! Thanks to our APSA representatives Yash Pershad (G2) and Neil Chada (G3)!
