Nashville Winter Storm Resources

This past weekend, Nashville, and the surrounding areas experienced catastrophic and widespread damage due to snow and ice from Winter Storm Fern, leaving hundreds of thousands without power for extended periods. This storm has had lasting impacts on our community. The MSTP Leadership Team encourages any students in need of assistance to reach out. We appreciate how our students have supported each other and the broader community during this challenging time. Below, you will find some helpful resources as well as opportunities to offer support.

The Vanderbilt University Inclement Weather Student Services Updates page will be updated as needed between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily during inclement weather and operational changes.

Vanderbilt University is providing an campus warming center for the community.

This article from Nashville Banner and this article from Nashville Scene both list resources providing food and other help and are updated as new information is available.

Two other resources providing shelter and food are Nashville Rescue Mission and Dream Streets which are in need of donations and have volunteer opportunities.
