  • Access to the Eskind Biomedical Library (EBL) Alumni Digital Library

    The Eskind Biomedical Library (EBL) Alumni Digital Library is a critical resource for helping alumni stay abreast of important information to assist in the cultivation of their practice. Alumni will need a password in order to access the Alumni Digital Library which may be obtained by emailing medalum@vanderbilt.edu, or by calling the Department of Medical Alumni Affairs at (615) 322-0310.

  • Access to University Libraries

    Alumni are welcome to visit the University Libraries and take advantage of their resources. An alumni ID card grants you access to all of the branches, as well as borrowing privileges. Visit the Heard Libraries Alumni Services web page for more information.

  • The Penn Club of New York

    Vanderbilt University is affiliated with The Penn Club of New York located at 30 West 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in midtown Manhattan. Club membership is open to all VU alumni. To receive a membership package with an application and current dues rates, email membership@pennclubny.org stating that you are a Vanderbilt University alumnus or alumna.   • Vanderbilt Legends Club

    Vanderbilt Legends Club is a private facility offering two championship courses co-designed by Hall of Fame golfer Tom Kite and renowned golf course architect Bob Cupp. Each course is designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels as they meander through scenic ponds and lush, contoured countryside.

    Since opening in 1992, Vanderbilt Legends Club has been widely recognized as Middle Tennessee's premier golf facility and has played host to numerous marquee events, including LPGA Tour tournaments, U.S. Senior Open Qualifying and U.S. Girls Junior Championship. It is also the home of the prestigious Vanderbilt University men's and women's golf teams.

  • Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

    Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Vanderbilt is an inclusive group that strives to represent the greater Nashville community with stimulating intellectual and cultural noncredit courses, programs for adults over 50, regardless of their educational background.

  • Nashville Vanderbilt Chapter

    Alumni living in Nashville are welcome to expand their horizons by participating in the Nashville Vanderbilt Chapter. Educational and cultural events, as well as opportunities to serve the local community provide unique experiences to strengthen the ties between fellow Commodores. In addition, members play an active role in the planning and execution of special events such as Homecoming festivities.   • Alumni Verification/Free Transcript Requests

    Transcripts - To request an electronic copy of your transcript, please visit the University Registrar website.

    Verifications - The Office of Enrollment Services processes verifications for MD alumni and requests 5-7 business days to process. To request a verification, please:

    • Submit an Alumni Verification Request.
    • Attached any forms that need to be completed.
    • Be sure to indicate which supporting documents are needed (if any): transcript, certified diploma, or Dean’s Letter.
    • Complete an Academic Record Release Form and upload it to the Alumni Verification Request. Vanderbilt University School of Medicine must have this before we can release any academic information.
    • For verifications of House Staff and Fellows (former trainees), please go through the office of GME. They can be reached at (615) 322-4916 or office@vumc.org. Faxed requests should be sent to (615) 343-1496.

    Fellowship Documentation - Please follow the steps below for submitting MIDUS Requests online:

    • Log in to MyERAS and click Documents tab.
    • Click EFDO On-line Services.
    • Once your EFDO On-line Services page loads, click Request a MSPE/Transcript on the left-hand side.
    • Once you have carefully read the disclosures, check the box next to “I have read and accept the above disclosures” and click CONTINUE.
    • Read the instructions and click NEW DOCUMENT REQUEST.
    • Select which document type you are requesting (MSPE or medical school transcript). You must submit a separate request for each document type you would like uploaded through MIDUS.
    • If provided a space to add comments, please indicate the year in which you graduated from VUSM.

    Allied Health - As of June 30, 2017, Vanderbilt University has closed its allied health programs. Allied Health programs are open under the auspices of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

    Student records for the following programs are available from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Office of Enrollment Services:

    Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program (prior to July 1, 2017)
    Dietetic Internship (prior to July 1, 2017)
    Medical Laboratory Science  (prior to July 1, 2016)
    Neurodiagnostic Technology Program  (prior to July 1, 2017)
    Nuclear Medicine Technology (prior to July 1, 2016)
    Perfusion Program (prior to July 1, 2017)

    Official Transcripts

    Students who completed a VU Allied Health program prior to the dates above may submit an Allied Health Transcript Request Form to order an official transcript. The form may be submitted by mail, fax, or email to:

    If you need to confirm that a transcript was received, please contact the intended recipient of the transcript. The Office of Enrollment Services does not receive a confirmation when a transcript has been delivered.

  • Travel

    The Vanderbilt University Alumni Association coordinates an annual travel program which is available to all VUSM alumni.   • Alumni Discount Program

    The Vanderbilt Alumni Association’s Discount Program is now open to all Vanderbilt Medical Alumni. This program provides all Vanderbilt alumni (all VU schools) with an elite collection of local and national discounts from thousands of hotels, restaurants, movie theaters, retailers, florists, car dealers, theme parks, national attractions, concerts, and events through Abenity. The program requires a one-time registration through the Vanderbilt Alumni Association’s website.

    Register today and enjoy full access to the discounts available to you as a benefit. Remember to login often as new discounts are added and updated regularly.

  • On-Campus Parking

    Free on-campus parking is available for community Vanderbilt Medical Alumni who no longer have Vanderbilt Faculty or House Staff affiliation. Contact Medical Alumni Affairs at (615) 322-0310 or medalum@vanderbilt.edu for more information.

    This Parking pass allows you to park in South Garage on Levels 5-7 and is valid until 6/1/2028.
