What do patterns of brain connectivity tell us about neurological diseases and normal brain function?.
Recent Papers: “Ventral striatal network connectivity reflects reward learning and behavior in patients with Parkinson’s disease.” Human Brain Mapping, 2018. “Structural and functional connectivity of the nondecussating dentato-rubro-thalamic tract.” NeuroImage, 2018.
How Vanderbilt made an impact: 1. BRET Office — provided me with numerous resources and great advice 2. Clinical Neuroscience Scholars — offered me the chance to merge basic research with clinical applications 3. Center for Computational Imaging enabled me to perform my computationally intensive projects
Next plans: I’m doing an 8-10 month post-doc at the Vanderbilt Institute for Imaging Science, and after that hopefully a longer-term postdoc.
