Peggy Kendall
The Kendall Lab works on Immune Tolerance, using both human patient samples and mouse models of autoimmune disease. Diseases studied include rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 (autoimmune) diabetes, myositis, scleroderma and pulmonary fibrosis. Our primary focus is on B lymphocytes, with secondary studies of innate cells. Current projects include: 1) microbiome interface with the immune system, 2) therapeutic targeting of B lymphocyte and innate cell signaling and 3) multiparameter analysis of the human immunome using CyTOF and other single cell tools.
