Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI) are diseases characterized by impaired immune development or function, leading to severe infection, autoimmunity, and cancer. Our lab uses a combination of human genetics, human immunology, bioinformatics, and molecular biology to identify and functionally characterize disease-causing mutations in these patients. This work paves the way to provide genetic diagnosis and personalized treatment for patients and allows us to identify new mechanisms of human immunity.
