Research Description
I am working to study mechanisms of acquired resistance to ALK tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in lung cancer. In particular, I am now focusing on a novel association between ALK and the EGFR/HER2 negative regulator, MIG-6. My work will dissect how ALK fusions regulate MIG-6, and therefore EGFR/HER2, in the ALK TKI sensitive state, and how this regulation is altered at the time of ALK TKI resistance.
