Match Day
After four years of intensive classes, rigorous clinical experiences, and the high-pressure residency application season, our MD students discover where they’ll spend the next phase of their professional journey on Match Day.
Med students across the nation celebrate Match Day each March, but at VUSM, we take this milestone to the next level. At 11 a.m., all our med students gather in Langford Auditorium and are called one by one to the stage to open their envelope containing their Match results and announce their residency placement to a cheering audience of friends and family.
