Makenna Clark is a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow while concurrently pursuing a doctoral degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in the department of Hearing and Speech Sciences. Makenna Clark’s research interests include better understanding pulmonary and swallow function variability in healthy individuals and underlying mechanisms of swallowing impairments that occur secondary to neurological and respiratory diseases. Makenna is a research assistant in the Innovative Research in Aerodigestive Disorders (iRAD) Laboratory.
