Neuropsychiatric developmental disorders are often diagnosed along with a myriad of comorbid phenotypes. My research is looking at how those comorbidities can further inform our understanding of how the biochemical pathways in these disorders contribute to its clinical presentation. These genes and pathways are informed by computational statistics, demonstrated in zebrafish, and further confirmed through the use of clinical human samples.
