The overarching goal of the lab is to determine cellular and molecular mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disease. I am specifically interested in the role of CaMKII in depression. My project aims to use electrophysiology and molecular biology techniques to characterize CaMKII function at the synapse and how it is impacted in the disorder.
