The Tansey lab is interested in understanding how the oncoprotein transcription factor Myc works and how it can be targeted for therapeutic effect in cancer cells. The goal of my project is to understand how Host Cell Factor 2 (HCF2), a potential interacting partner of Myc, contributes to Myc regulated transcription.
