Our lab studies reproductive immunology with a focus on bacterial infections that complicate pregnancy. We primarily examine host-microbe interactions in the pathogenesis of chorioamnionitis, a major cause of preterm birth and stillbirth. Group B Streptococcus is the primary pathogen our lab studies.
