I am studying RIG-I-like receptor activation in breast cancer. RIG-I is a cytosolic RNA-helicase whose endogenous role is to protect against viral infection. I'm researching the therapeutic potential of RIG-I agonists to reduce tumor growth and increase immunogenicity in the breast tumor microenvironment.
