My long term research interests involve development and implementation of innovative systems, which leverage high-parameter datasets and machine-learning tools to improve how we treat human health imbalances. My current research focuses on population based analyses of speech and language traits. Research approaches include utilizing common variant GWAS and exome sequencing-based analyses of gene- and pathway-focused rare variant burden tests to understand the yet unknown genetic architecture and etiology of developmental stuttering.
