My thesis work will focus on understanding the host factors and dynamics involved in Enteropathogenic E. coli actin pedestal formation on intestinal cells during infection. Within this project I will use cutting-edge microscopy and biochemistry methods to understand how microbes create unique interactions with their host to develop disease.
