My research focuses on identifying antivirals that inhibit Coronaviruses. Specifically, my project focuses on the nucleoside prodrug GS-5734. The goal of the project is to better understand the mechanisms of inhibition and resistance to this nucleoside in Coronaviruses, especially in the context of the Coronavirus RNA proofreading activity.
