Studying how tumor-specific CD8+ T cells become dysfunctional in a mouse model of hepatocellular carcinoma. Specifically, looking at the transition from early to late dysfunction, and what molecular mechanisms may be playing a role. This will help our understanding of the process of T cell dysfunction and potentially how it can be stopped or reversed.
