The World Health Organization (WHO) offers 6-12 weeks internships with a wide range of opportunities for health professionals to gain insight in the technical and administrative programmes of WHO and global health. The applicant can be from any specialty and healthcare background (eg: biostatistics, epidemiology, medicine, public health, surgery, pediatrics, maternal health, environmental health, cardiology, oncology, genetics, infectious diseases, etc). The idea is to give them global perspective on their specialty through WHO programs.
