Shandong University School of Public Health has over ninety-five faculty members researching a wide range of topics including infectious and non-communicable diseases, environmental health, occupational health, nutrition, child and maternal health, and health policy and management. It has seven academic departments: Epidemiology and Health Statistics, Toxicology, Occupational and Environmental Health, Maternal and Child Health Care, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Social Medicine and Health Administration, and Hygiene Detection.

RECENT TRAINEE PROJECTS:
– Worked with colleagues at the Shandong University School of Public Health in partnership with the China CDC branch in Zoucheng,Shandong surveying the religious and spiritual beliefs of the rural elderly and potential effects of those beliefs on the risk of suicide.
