Stata Boot Camp
Description
The Stata Boot Camp will be offered over three afternoons in October to second-year students in the Vanderbilt MPH Program, as well as VU and VUMC graduate and professional students, faculty, and staff members, and public health professionals. This three-day short course is intended for those who need a refresher in the very basics of Stata. The interactive sessions provide students with exposure to and hands-on practice with the statistical software package.
Sessions are taught sequentially such that attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged. Students will work directly with Stata software during the class sessions, and so students are expected to have purchased and installed Stata prior to the first session.
Cost
- Free for current students in the Vanderbilt MPH Program
- $150 for graduates of the Vanderbilt MPH Program
- $300 for all others
