Kendall Davids

Kendall Davids is an ASCP board-certified Medical Laboratory Scientist and NAHP Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in 2023 and completed her clinical training at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
After graduation, Kendall joined the transfusion medicine team at the University of Virginia Health System as a clinical laboratory scientist II, where she responded to a variety of complex adult and pediatric transfusion needs in the setting of a level one trauma center. She also worked locally as a home health aide, where she specialized in serving the adults in her community presenting with co-occurring cognitive and physical disabilities.
In her free time, Kendall is deeply committed to volunteerism and advocacy; she is a presenting author of two research papers focused on the preservation of Appalachian biodiversity, has served as a panel speaker for the Virginia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program, and was a longstanding member of both the Virginia Medical & Virginia Behavioral Health Reserve Corps, where she earned a bronze service award for her continued dedication to supporting equitable healthcare access for patients across the state in rural, maternal, and acute disaster settings.
Additionally, Kendall enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, HelicoBaxter Pylori, kayaking, and attending heavy metal concerts.
