Graduate Program: Cancer Biology

Undergraduate Institution: University of Colorado, Boulder
Research Interests: I study the autoimmune side effects of cancer immunotherapy. In particular, I aim to improve our understanding of the pathophysiology of immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated myocarditis (ICI-MC), a severe inflammatory heart condition that affects a subset of patients being treated with these life-saving medicines. I hope to translate these findings into improved screening and prevention approaches that will allow early detection and intervention in patients at high risk for developing ICI-MC, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
MSTP Leadership: Mock Study Section, Graduate Student Council Representative, Student Advisory Committee
Hobbies and Interests: I love spending time outdoors cycling, mountain biking, hiking, you name it. Looking forward to some bikepacking trips this year and next.
