I am a neuroscience graduate student in Dr. Tonia Rex’s laboratorywhere we study neurodegeneration of the visual system. For my project, I will be investigating the efficacy of iPSC-derived retinal ganglion cells as a therapeutic strategy in two models of different optic neuropathies; traumatic optic neuropathy and glaucoma.
