- Placing a Work Order (new work/building improvement) All new work orders/improvement requests for Vanderbilt Health buildings need to be placed through the SOM Basic Sciences Facilities website. Click the blue button marked "Chargeable Work Orders For Vanderbilt Health," which will take you to a Microsoft form to enter all of the details for the work, including a COA/POET to fund the work order. Once received, the FIRM office will approve and coordinate the work.

- Purge unnecessary chemicals and materials in advance. Submit chemical waste collection requests through EHS Assist via vanderbilt.edu/ehs.
- Decontaminate and label biohazardous equipment with the EHS Bio Release Form prior to surplus or move.
