Christopher Williams, M.D., Ph.D.

Professor of Medicine, Associate Dean, Physician Scientist Education and Training, Director, Medical Scientist Training Program

The Williams Lab is interested in how the intestinal epithelium responds to injury and how these normal processes get hijacked in tumorigenesis. Specific areas include epigenetic regulation of gut wound healing, oxidative stress in stem cell function and tumorigenesis, and apical junctional biology in tumorigenesis.
