I’m a third year graduate student in the Madhur lab interested in inflammation and cardiovascular disease. After graduating from the University of Texas, I joined the Vanderbilt MSTP in 2016. My thesis project focuses on the role of immune activation in chronic cardiovascular remodeling and hypertension. I’m particularly interested in “bedside to bench” research, taking notable findings from human samples back to model systems to better understand biological mechanisms underlying physiology and disease.
