ABSTRACT

Human infection with Colletotrichum species is typically limited to ophthalmologic manifestations. We present the first reported pediatric case of subcutaneous Colletotrichum truncatum infection. This case highlights the potential importance of Colletotrichum truncatum as an agent of subcutaneous or disseminated disease in immunocompromised children.
