Instructions for Presenters

  1. All thesis presentations take place in the MPH Classroom, Suite 1010 at 2525 West End Avenue.
  2. The morning of your presentation, upload your final PowerPoint file to your individual REDCap form.
  3. ALSO bring your presentation as a PowerPoint file (.PPT) with you on a USB drive (and/or email it to yourself).
  4. We will have a computer (PC) and laser pointer for you to use. If you created your presentation on a Mac, do not forget to test it on a PC to make sure there are no formatting errors when it is displayed on a PC.
  5. If you would like to use your own laptop, make sure it has a HDMI port or bring an adapter.
  6. The MPH Classroom has a wireless lavaliere microphone that you will wear.
  7. Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes early so we can load your presentation on the computer and help you with the microphone.
