The Office of the Vice Provost for Arts, Libraries and Global Engagement is receiving proposals for 2024–25 Global Engagement Funding. Applications must be submitted on InfoReady by Monday, May 5, 2025, for consideration. Award decisions will be made by the end of the semester, and awards will be distributed after July 1, 2025.

  • Global Engagement Travel Grants support faculty traveling internationally to present at high-impact forums, academic conferences, colloquiums, summits, and symposia or participating in professional development and training workshops.
  • Global Engagement Research Seed Grants support new and innovative faculty research endeavors that involve global engagement. The grants are meant to seed projects with larger funding capacities.

2025–26 funds:

  • The Global Scholars in Residence program provides financial support to faculty seeking to host a visiting scholar (with a minimum stay of four days and a maximum stay of four weeks) from a recognized non-U.S. institution of higher education or other non-U.S., nonprofit educational and/or research mission–driven entity.
  • The Big Questions Fund provides financial support to faculty-organized colloquiums, summits, workshops, or summer schools to address pressing societal challenges of global interests.
